"A person is never as quiet or unrestrained as they seem. Or as good, as bad, as vulnerable, as strong, or as sweet. We are thickly layered, page by page, behind simple covers. And love - it is not the book itself, but the binding. It can either rip us apart or hold us together."
Excited at first. He's in denial of boredom. Obviously bored, DUH.
Clouds look pretty. The few seconds of patriotism. Sun is setting! Fireworks are gonnabe out soon!
Fantabulous day spent with my lYved one today. (: He was nice enough to endure my being late for almost an hour; and even shopped with me! (Mind you, it's a rare occasion to see him shop, ok.) So we went to Marina Square to pick up my Zen Microphoto and I found out to my amazement; it's been replaced with a smashing brand new one! Marvellous. But before all that we went shopping around; and I found a knitted top from Bossini which was at 50% off. It's gorgeous. And he bought himself some cargo shorts or whatever you call 'em. He almost bought shirts but there were none of his size and liking. So too bad. And guess who I bumped into at Suntec?
Dear old Wiwi and his gf Sylvia. Still looking like the same old fella he was back then.
Lucky thing syg and I didn't go down to Esplanade for it was already brimming with people (mainly wannabes) all walking around at CityLink mall. Instead we walked to Bugis, had lunch-dinner (do you call it lunner?) and took a bus to Kallang Riverside Park. Unfortunately, it was pretty unplanned to go to a park; (it was planned that we headed to some high-rise HDB flats) so we were very empty-handed. Everyone there had like mats and chips and portable TVs in hand. Thank god for his New Paper, we spread it out like mats and waited for two hours like gong-gongs. But when the fireworks finally appeared in the night sky; it was magical. I like!
We were up and about fast; to avoid the human jam; and so we caught the train real quick, went down to Tamp (this time to avoid the traffic jam and human jam at City Hall and the buses elsewhere) and we took 168. Was back at Woodlands by 9+; hassle-free and happy. =D yay!
